Plan Your Visit to Tarleton

We encourage all prospective students and families to schedule a campus visit through Tarleton State University. This allows you to explore campus, learn about academic programs, and experience student life.

If you are planning a campus visit, be sure to notify one of our Corps recruiters in advance. In many cases, we can coordinate a Corps visit on the same day as your scheduled Tarleton tour.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your visit is designed to give you a real look into life as a Tarleton Cadet. During your time with us, you can expect:

You’ll receive a personalized overview of the Corps from our leadership team. This meeting covers program expectations, opportunities, scholarships, Cadet life, and the advantages of joining a university pursuing Senior Military College status.

Guests will visit a Cadet’s room in Traditions South, our Corps housing community. This stop provides insight into daily routines, living conditions, and the camaraderie that comes with living among fellow Cadets.

You’ll have the opportunity to talk directly with current Cadets—ask questions, hear their experiences, and gain an authentic understanding of Corps life, leadership expectations, and student opportunities.

Visitors will receive Corps merchandise as a welcome gift and reminder of your experience with us.
